I think that whole thing with Chuck Berry correcting Keith Richard's playing of that guitar riff was staged, Jane.  It made for a good segment in that Chuck Berry special  Hail, Hail Rock n' Roll.

I don't know. Keith is not grinning his usual grin. It is all about who is the boss and Chuck definately is it.

Charlie is so obviously NOT hitting his kit in that first clip. That's hilarious!

I don't know. Keith is not grinning his usual grin. It is all about who is the boss and Chuck definately is it.

There are several reasons I think it was staged, Cor.  Keith is an accomplished guitarist and can do that bend easily.  It appears as though he deliberately altered the bend several times for effect.  Then he nailed it.  There were several cuts to individual members of the band showing their reactions to Chuck Berry's admonishments as well as the faces Keith made.  Never-the-less, Chuck Berry plays the riff and does the bend in his own unique way...he invented it after all!  Anyone else doing it can only come close.  Chuck Berry is indeed the boss.

Keith, at 6:46 smiles and mouths along with Chuck Berry who's singing "gonna learn to dance if it takes all night and day."  Dancing with Chuck in this rehearsal ain't easy!

I thought it was an entertaining interlude in the rehearsal segment for the concert which came later in the film.

That's skill!

It looks as if he's holding one stick in his left hand. Still pretty amazing to produce such a drum sound with one stick. Not bad at all. Good to see Paul picked up his Hofner instead of that psycho Rickenbacker for this version. Nice to see that this has surfaced at last.

Paul McCartney - Twin Freaks: Temporary Secretary

I recall hearing this played before both the Paul concerts I've been to. I don't like the original version, but this remix always makes me nostalgic.  ha2ha
