This is one of those songs that prompts a flashbulb memory for me: I can recall the setting, weather, etc. It never fails to jerk me back to a particular day in August 1990. Nothing special happened that day, but for some reason the moment, and this song, sticks in my head.

Its a great song Kath. I think its so cool how music can transport us back to places and times of our past like nothing else can.

Right on, Kathy and Barry! I saw this really cool couple on the news out of Buffalo. Every evening at the same time they go out on their balconey, crank up the music and start a dance party. Lots of people come out of their houses and dance in little household groups, 6 feet apart. I wish that would take off here but I'm not brave enough to try it alone!

That sounds like so much fun, Kelley! We can't do that here because, to add insult to injury, we are still getting snow. Plus North Dakotans are just not spontaneous or outgoing; at least, in 12 years I've never met one who is.

I wish I were there! Then we could start a neighborhood dance party together.

I think that if I put the word out and had a sound system that I could take to the park I could get people to show up. But I guess that would look too much like a public gathering. I really need you to do it at my house!

We had some snow on Monday. I’ve never seen such big snowflakes. But this was all that was left of it last evening out at the nature preserve. Kelsie took this. She and her dog were taking they daily socially distant walk as she call it.
