Wow. It keeps getting better.
Well I enjoyed the hell out of "A Fine Line" and can see why it was a single, but these songs are both excellent album tracks. "Promise to You Girl" has a sense of humor about it. Very cool bass line and vocals too. It has so many keen twists and turns -- very "Ram." Very 70s. Very Wings. I dig, very very much. "Jenny Wren" now, this song kicked my ass! It is like a "Blackbird"-ized "She's Given Up Talking." It has a great vocal and some cool finger picking. I wish Paul would have dreamed up a different title because the lyrics are very deep and different from "Blackbird". I hope that's him playing the horn throughout the song as well. Man, this album is going to be great!
