Steely Dan
« on: May 11, 2006, 09:21:56 PM »

What are your impressions of the group?  Are they worth extensively listening to? I have only really heard a couple songs but am interested in more.  The two I know are more "catchy" than my taste, "Reelin' in the Years" and "Do it Again"

Steely Dan is freakin incredible. Of course they are worthy of checking out. Marshall mentioned Aja and that is just a phenominal album. Pretzel Logic, Cant Buy A Thrill, Katy Lied, and Two Against Nature are all great. If you like good music and musicianship, theres no need to look any further.
