What is the most meaningful songs from beatles?

I always thought "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" got short thrift!

Right up there though would be "In My Life". I think it is a remarkably precocious song for a young man in his twenties. Rough, tough John, or so he would want the world to think ... then he comes out with something like that.

No wonder he was always getting in fights, he had to compensate for this sensitive side!

Very well put, alexis.  As I've posted before in several other threads, In My Life remains my favorite Beatles song for the reasons you've expressed so eloquently.  John's Wait immediately follows and continues to express his sensitive side.

And I've always found it interesting that on the same album, we find Run For Your Life, Rubber Soul's closing song...........his "rough, tough" side.

Meaningful can mean a lot of different things.  :)
She Loves You was meaningful for being the absolute breakthrough of the Beatles in Europe and I Want To Hold Your Hand for doing that for the US. Especially these two songs brought the fresh energetic sound over the world. Yesterday was meaningful for being the lovesong that was and is covered the most. All You Need Is Love is meaningful as the ultimate Beatlessong about love.

anything pre Peppers, most of the output afterwards was more meaningful to individual members.

I like Long, Long, Long ,In My Life and Hey Jude i think they touch many bases .
Also Helter Skelter embodies for me the madness of the world and how it seems out of control sometimes .
And just for total joy and fun I Saw Her Standing There and A Hard Day's Night .

But "Imagine" isn't a Beatles song, technically...unless we're including solo songs here.

I think "In My Life" is deeply meaningful in a nostalgic and romantic sort of way.  I've always loved John's softer side.

'Meaningful' in a different way, but I think that Think For Yourself is pretty meaningful.

I love how Rubber Soul encompasses so many emotions, reflection, anger, frustration, dissapointment, homicidal(!),
in Nowhere Man, I can't really describe the emotion? Almost 'pity me'? Loads of emotions as opposed to in Please Please Me, the main emotion is puppy love. Rubber Soul itself is very meaningful. Very mature songs on.
