I was just thinking that if the all the Beatles were alive and together today, would they do an album cover with all of them wearing medical face masks?

Somehow I can picture them doing this.  Or do you think John or George would rebel against the idea?  I could see Paul advocating for it and Ringo going along with the majority's decision.

It'd almost be like another Sgt. Pepper cover.

I'm pretty certain George would rebel. And John, at least if he were in his younger days, would make some sort of joke out of it. Today, who knows. He and Yoko would probably create some sort of installation art that he would have tried to incorporate.

It’s not the focus of the study, just a finding that came out of it. I’m not vouching for it or saying it’s correct. Just found it amusing that smoking might have some benefit.

That's intriguing. I wasn't trying to challenge you, by the way, just curious because it seems a bit contrary to what one would expect. Thanks for the link. I spend so much time on that site, digging up information. Seems strange to visit it as a layperson.

I just came across it.  Like all studies relating to health there’s no doubt confounding factors that make it hard to be sure what’s being measured.  Post infection you’d  think someone who smoked would be more affected by Covid and have more chances of breathing difficulties. But this seems to be about actually contracting the virus in the first place.  Where I found it there were some comments on hypotheses why smoking might reduce chances of the virus taking hold.

I found that Abbey Road cover with a Google search.  Nice job by whoever did that, huh?
