In my never ceasing quest to find podcast material, two I’ve found recently I enjoy.
One is I am the Eggpod, which is hosted by an English musician and broadcaster Chris Shaw. His format is simple. He invites a guest, usually someone from the arts in England, to talk about a favourite Beatles or solo Beatles album. It’s pretty leisurely and sedate.
The other is Nothing is Real, hosted by two Irish guys. Like most podcasts they just find a Beatle subject, be it an album or any other topic, and discuss it, giving context and history. They’re amiable and amusing chaps and their gentle Irish accents are very soothing.
