I thought Paul was the best musician of them. Am I wrong? Just based on how many instruments he could play and all.

i've often heard that george was easily the best musician, i think playing lead, you have to be good....his guitar work was way ahead of his time....volume pedals, wah wah's, slide, he pushed a lot of those sounds to the forefront...not to mention sitar...his backing vocals are unsurpassed on their albums too....he was the best harmonizer of them. they were all good together...if you've ever played in a band, it's second nature to know exactly where everyone's going, and i imagine after playing 8 to 12 hr sets in hamburg, etc. i think it's safe to say, they knew when each other blinked. many other better musicians than the beatles....no better band.

George played 26 instruments: guitar, sitar, 4-string guitar, bass guitar, arp bass, violin, tamboura, dobro, swordmandel, tabla, organ, piano, moog synthesizer, harmonica, autoharp, glockenspiel, vibraphone, xylophone, claves, African drum, conga drum, tympani, ukulele, mandolin, marimba, and Jal-Tarang.

I really wasn't questioning George's musical ability! I honestly have no idea about these things. I've just always heard about Paul and his playing so many instruments. Obviously they were ALL incredibly talented!! It certainly wasn't my intention to offend anybody. Really.
Could someone list the instruments Paul played? Just curious. I can't find that info anywhere.

I thought i posted in this already.. hmmm... anyways, my favorite is Paul because I like his music. Although I must admit at first he was only my favorite because he was so cute. Tsk tsk tsk, how shallow of me, I sound just like a teenybopper.
John is a close second though! Then George, then Ringo.

Then we can be shallow together.
Although I never understood people who could develop a crush so young. Up until I was like 12 I thought boys were yucky.

Heh! Yes, regular boys were yucky! Paul's not a regular boy though! That face just got me. By 12 I was into Jim Morrison. My brothers favorite line was: How could you like a dead guy?

Paul used to be my favorite, but now George is. So my vote goes to him.
