Former Spooky Tooth, solo star with Dream Weaver and friend and collaborator with George Harrison passes away at 80.
Time passing is sad sometimes.

Goodness. We seem to be losing musicians at a rapidly increasing rate.
RIP Gary.

Yes. It almost warrants a separate section on this site.

Oh no! He was very talented. I didn’t realize how much more there was to his career until I was older but as a kid, I loved his two big hits. Dream Weaver is my favorite. It brings back memories of being right on the cusp of my teen years. I had a cousin who was just three months younger than me. Even though we were closely bonded by our shared love of music I didn’t know she loved Dream Weaver until her funeral six years ago. Her husband was talking about her strong work ethic and success in her field and told a cute story about one day that she was uncharacteristically late for a meeting. As she rushed in and took her seat she apologized and explained that she had to listen to the end of Dream Weaver.
