a friend & i were talking about the way beginning when he says "mr moonlight". this is john right? im pretty sure it is, but if u listen it sounds alot like paul when it starts out, and then turns into john. have any of u recognized this/thought the same?

No, I can't say I have. I've always thought it was John, but if you listen to the Anthology version, it's undeniably John (and he can't hit the note!) so perhaps it is Paul in the finished recording?
I'll have to give it another listen I guess....
