Oliver! f**in is one of the greatest characters created, and Ron Moody does him brilliantly. And my old mate Jack Wild as The Artful Dodger!

Now, come on...'I'm reviewing, the situation...'

The Unborn - with Gary Oldman quite a scary horror film with some wild special effects , the dog with it's head on upside down is really freaky  ;D

Did I mention I saw Public Enemies and Half Blood Prince (for the second time) last week.  I really liked Public Enemies, then again, I'm really into the 1930s Chicago mobsters movies.  In Harry Potter this time I noticed more of the goofs.  I still think it's the best out of all the Potter movies though.

^ Public Enemies?  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1152836/  It has Johnny Depp playing John Dillinger.  I saw it last week, I liked it (3 post up lol)

Judy, I didn`t get the name of the movie! It is called here Johnny D. Don`t know why. Kind of Johnny D. (Dillinger) and at the same time Johnny D. (Depp - the actor).
And you know, I didn`t like it very much. I think the plot is weak, and the roles for the actors are weakly drawn. Johnny claims to be a great robber, though his robbing banks looks funny and badly-organized; and a great lover, who loves only one girl, but somehow it is hard to believe him. And the acting by Christian B. leaves much to be desired. Motionless figure and emotionless face. Maybe we should blame the role for that? Then he should have turned the role down.
What did you like in the film?

The reviews I've read haven't been very flattering. But I'll see it out of interest.

I'm just a sucker for 1930s mobsters and Johnny Depp lol.  And I honestly thought that was how Christian Bale played Batman too (I'm just waiting to hear about that comment from... crap who was it, Mairi or DSL... I can't remember for sure but I'm sure it was one of them...).  The name, it was because the FBI (from what I understand) considers people that may be some sort of threat to society a public enemy, then again they do change titles between countries.

I've seen a bunch as of late

Poltergeist II Watched it with a friend. We were trying to decide whether it was a horror film or a comedy film. We're horrible people, I know.

Fierce Creatures Very corny, but it has its moments. I think the only reason I watched it is because it's got John Cleese in it.  :-X

Gone With the Wind It was good for what I saw, I only watched the last 45 minutes of it, but what I watched was nice. A little overdramatic for my tastes, though.

True Lies A fun action film. Schwarzenegger is very good here. That's all I really have to say about it.  :P

I am taking advantage of movies on TV.

Gone with the Wind is brilliant!! i was put off watching it for years over hearing that it was a woman's
type film and also it was such a long movie, i coundn't sit through more than three hours, but then
one of my movie buff friends taught me into watching and i have to admit its a classic wonderful warm
sad movie!! and its 70 years old this year!! and Vivan Leigh is one of my fav actresses ever and she was
so stunning and beautiful! :)

Saw Julie and Julia at the cinema tonight. It was a pleasant film, kind of slow-moving but really sweet and entertaining. Meryl Streep was amazing as usual.

Yeah, i liked that movie.

I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off yesterday in memory of John Hughes. It's still as hilarious and poignant as ever. I think I'll watch Pretty in Pink tonight.
