It was actually a good movie, Kev.  Uncanny how the virus was caused by a bat.

The pandemic killed off everyone except for Vincent Price and a few others.  I won't give away the plot by saying who these few others were.  But with this particular pandemic, those infected died but came back as zombies.  This movie predated "Night of the Living Dead" by a couple of years...

A friend and I just saw Unhinged. It was good, a bit more physically violent than I'd expected, though.

Thats on my list Kathy.
I watched The Rhythm Section.
Nothing to do with music, really enjoyed it. Jude Law stars.

We saw this trailer before Unhinges started, and although it looks quite good, 2020 has been stressful enough already, so I'll probably pass for now.

I'm kinda torn:

Saw the new Christopher Nolan film Tenet. I had no idea what was going on pretty much from the first five minutes to the end.  I still don’t know what was going on.

I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one. I saw the trailer and was completely lost.

I recall seeing the Magic Christian as a kid when it came on tv. Only selling point was Ringo. Can’t recall much about it although I must have stuck with it because I recall listening to come and get it over the end credits.

Haven’t seen the others. I would like to see That’ll Be the Day which is supposed to be a good film in its own right as well as maybe Ringo’s best performance.

Thus:

Did I hear you say
That there must be a catch?
Will you walk away
From a fool and his money?

I watched The Witch yesterday.
English film.
Magnificent film.
5 stars.

It involves the Puritans who left England to settle in New England in the seventeenth century.
Loved it, but its scary.

Just saw Whiplash, a film from 2014 about a young man training to be a jazz drummer and his hellacious instructor. It was great, but very intense. I had to turn the volume down at the end because I couldn't bear the tension.

It's nice to get wrapped up in something that takes you away from The Hell That Is 2020.  ;)

Great film
It actually won 3 academy awards one of which was to JK Simmons who played the teacher.
It showed the lengths serious Jazz musicians go to, to master their craft.

Watched a great 2020 film called Waves.

The epic emotional journey of a suburban African American family as they navigate love, forgiveness and coming together in the wake of a tragic loss.

Superb film.
Written, co-produced and directed by Trey Edward Shults.
