I read the Helter Skelter book, it as very informative.  Manson is just a nut job.  In the book it claims he saw the beatles, thought they were great but that he was better. yea right. He thought they were speaking to him through the White Album. Thank goodness they never let him out even though he keeps going up for parole.  Even if he didn't kill anyone, he's crazy.

I love to bring up Manson whenever people try to blame mass murders and school shootings on things like heavy metal or video games. They just conveniently ignore the Beach Boys/Beatles connections to Manson, I guess because they're wholesome and familiar.
