People usually don't call me a geek to my face, but from some offhand comments, it seems like some folks think I am. Take it as a compliment, though.

I don't typically label myself as a geek, but deep down inside, I know I'm one.

So our school wanted us to pick a sister country this year to correspond with. Which is a great idea, but we cannot find a class!! I picked Russia for the second grade. Anyone know any elementary school teachers over there that would like to write to us?

I didn't think it would be so difficult to hook up with a couple of classes over there!

Definitely. And if they can do email, the epals website has a translator.

I'm an active parent on the school that my two boys are attending, but I'd say that 7 is too young for them to write in English. The older kids might have a go it at tho. I'd like to see what I can do and if the teachers are up for the plan. Problem is it's summer holidays now until mid-August. Maybe I can dig up an email address from the director. Could you give me a little more details. Maybe by PM?
