We need to be braver about talking to our fellow Beatle brethren.

Although I have tried talking to a former teacher of mine about them a while back.... He was saying that John said "I buried Paul" at the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever", and I was like no, he's saying "cranberry sauce"!! And he just gave me this look like he didn't believe me, sheez. Tsk.

It still sounds to me that he says I buried Paul even though I've heard the Anthology version  ;)

I've been shy all my life. I've been getting better at talking to random people, but I guess it is something that never really goes away unless you force yourself to meet tons of new folks. :(

yah I guess you're right! I guess I would say I'm better than I was a few years back. But still not totally great at talking to everyone.

I know! Even in art class when the teacher just LOVED my Georgia O'keffe style flower (we're learning about her in art) and showed it to everyone I turned bright red! I just hate it. And one thing about me is I have like permanent blush on all the time. So I turn more red than I already am.  :-\

My school counselor is a Beatle fan, so he keeps testing me with Beatle lyrics. Like today he gave me a peice of paper that said "The deeper you go, the higher you fly, the higher you go, the deeper you go" and he didn't think I'd get it! But I got it right away! :D

Received this memory of Jimmy on the myspace today.

I used to go to the Barrowland in Glasgow on a Saturday after noon when the Jaygars played.  I was about 14 and Jim was 11.  I really fancied him and so did a lot of the young girls.  He used to sing "Hang on Sloopy".  Me and my friends then used to go to various venues to see them.  They used to play in a club called the Underworld on a Sunday night.  He was a lovely wee boy.  I can't believe what happened to him.  I liked his brother Jackie as well.  He played the drums.  I will always remember that time in my life and always the Jaygars.

An 11 year old Jim singing Hang On Sloopy would have been interesting to see.
