I want a Christmas cookie but the ones my daughter baked this weekend are gone already. This is what makes the holidays stressful for me; it's impossible to stay ahead of the cookie monsters here.

I posted a picture of a 1960s Playboy model as my Facebook profile pic because she looks uncannily like me, and someone offered me an acting job! What should I do? All my years of watching sitcoms should have prepared me for something like this but I'm lost.

Same here :D My twins baked some christmas cookies (almost by themselves!!) last weekend and they were also gone too fast  ;D The baby tasted some cookie as well and absolutely loved it.

Just wanted to pop in and say a quick "hi" to everyone. I've been gone awhile because life has been miserable and stressful, and I haven't really had anything positive to say, so I've kept my virtual mouth shut.  ;)

I got a laugh about the comments about Christmas cookies; I have two daughters who love to bake, too, but everything is gone by the time I try to get one of whatever it is they have made. I'm clearly not alone <laugh>

Hope everyone is having a nice holiday season!

Oh, it's someone that I knew from high school who contacted me, and it's not a nudie picture or anything.

My concern is losing 30 pounds or so before filming so I don't look awful on camera.

That reminds me, a little over year ago a cyber-friendship that I had ended due to some very harmful things I said and did in terms of privacy issues to a fellow Beatle fan on a message board and Facebook.

Why I bring this up is because the other night I was reading a children's biography book on the Fabs to my 5 year old nephew, while trying to sound like John Lennon (it was the Lennon chapter).  Anyway, doing that made me think of the friendship I ruined, because I know he'd get a kick out of that if I told him about it on Facebook.

I got lots of baking things (including a cupcake and muffin maker!) this Christmas so today I made some blueberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. They were delicious!
