Aha - I pointed that out before actually! You're referring to the "woke up, fell out of bed..." segment right? On the Anthology version there is a lot of tape echo on Paul's voice, just like there is on the 'aaaaaah' section.

I thought it was mentioned before. It sounded familiar. Of course you are smart enough to notice that years before me! Anyway, seriously, what is Paul talking about at the end and is that on the Anthology DVDs?? Cuz if it is, I can't remember.

The jibberish at the VERY end of the album? It is pretty much indecipherable and everyone has their own take on what is being said... including some obscene! To my ears it sounds like "never could see any all the way..."!

I think Sandra is refering to the conversation Paul has with someone else on the take included in the Anthology 2 ... reply no. 36

Doesn't the fact that on Anthology 2, Paul has a sort of heavy echoe thing on his voice not unlike the echoe thing on the Ahhh Ahhhs, mean anything?

And what is he talking about at the end about people thinking they're up to something?? Just wondering!

By the way, Bobber uploaded that segment backwards here:

Ah - THAT talking bit - I think it's Paul giving some direction to the orchestra.

This?

A Day In The Life

John: Dab the mic on the piano, and quite low, this,
just keep it in like, maracas you know.

You know those old pianos. Okay we're on.

Sugar plum fairy, Sugar plum fairy

Middle:-

Paul: made my way upstairs and had a smoke, and
everybody spoke and I went into a dream
      (Oh sh*t!)

(Paul blew the vocal, "somebody spoke")

End:-

Some bloke: Oh, really? I ...
             [very English, "oh, raaahtherrr" accent]
Paul: See, the worst thing about doing this, that
we're doing something like this, is that I think
that at first people, sort of, are a bit
suspicious. You know, "Come on, what are you up
to?". But the thing is it really is just ...

I'm with The End ... he seems to be giving some direction to the orchestra or to someone of their studio team.

Not bad, Rax, but at the beginning John says :

"Can I have the mike on the piano quite low - that's - just keepin' it like maracas, you know."

As for the echo argument, the most echo on this Anthology version is on Mal Evans' counting - so does that mean it's probably MAL doing the "aaaaaaaaaaaaaahs"?

OK, Rax.
But you should know better than to believe everything you see on the web!
That's usually a pretty reliable site but you can never be too careful!

OK, zipi.

I'm always learning from you ... the agnostic ...

Did you know how surprised Mark and I were knowing how much you've changed?
By the way, Mark (your zape) cries like a little chid because of you ... and can't weep at night since you told him such ...
... he's not the man he used to be ... he doesn't deserve this attitude ... you were so meaningful and important for him ... he thought he was for you too ... but you decided not to be meaningful, to be meaningless ...

... I'm very worried about him ... somehow about you too ... but it's good to know that you've learnt from your own mistakes ...

I hope you're recovering your-shelf ...

My best energy.

P.S. Had I said that I believe in what I posted ... or I've been "careful" and I've asked "This?"? ... Again.
It seems that you haven't learnt anything from your own mistakes, after all ...
Your past follows you, zipi ...

Thanks! But I still don't know what he's going on about. It doesn't sound much like a direction.

It's just Paul trying to justify himself and his ideas to an orchestra of "real" musicians! Have you seen the promo of A Day In The Life - you can see Paul conducting the orchestra.

It seems to be that, yep, ... tho the promo is disconcerting we can see Paul conducting the orchestra (it's been said that Sir George was doing it too).
Can anybody imagine an alternate explanation?

Yeah, that makes sense. I've seen the promo and heard him talk about the musicians and stuff. I mean, I can see him explaining it in his cryptic way. Sort of like his one sided conversation with John in the Let it Be movie. Thanks for the info!

Yeah, just listen to Paul trying to get across his ideas to Michael Lindsay-Hogg during the Let It Be/Get Back sessions!!!!! Similar sort of 'discussion'!
