Beatles plus 50

50 years ago today the John and Paul are playing hooky in Paris with John's 21st birthday money.  They will soon return to Liverpool, Sam Leach's "Operation Big Beat" and a meeting with Mr. Brian Epstein.  Follow their history 50 years after the fact on my http://beatlesplus50.blogspot.com/ blog.

I guess the ist big 50 was the 50th ann. of John and paul meeting. I remeber there were a few things on the radio inc. what for me was the startling revelation of an audio recording  of some of The Quarrymen's set. I had no idea there was tape of that but apparently there was!!! The next big one is going to be next year with the 50th ann. of Love me do...then we're off and running for the next 8yrs.!!
