Today Klaus Voormann opened a little exhibition of his work in Hallenberg a very little town in Germany and during the interview he told some great news.

For the last months and for the months to come he will be filmed for a DVD/CD boxset with old pals. So he was in the studio with members of The Band or the likes of Carly Simon. He was also in the studio with Paul McCartney in England! They recorded

Wonderful link at the bottom of your post to info about Stu that I hadn't known before, as well.

Just last night I watched The Pete Best Story on YouTube.

The Klaus interviews were especially heartfelt. His comments about preferring Stu's more basic rock and roll style of bass playing vs. Paul's more musical approach were a jolt. He also seemed genuinely astonished and saddened  that they got rid of Pete.

Klaus would know.
