The editor in me notices that the "L" in that sign on the book cover was added at the last minute.
So many Beatles books, so little time!
I know what you mean! I have several stacked up waiting to be read, and soon more will be on the way. Also, I just realized I have a bunch of unread ocean liner books that I can now read. When the kids were little, I was too afraid one of them would spill juice on, or rip, or otherwise ruin any of the glossy big ones or the expensive rare ones. I just pulled a biography of Charles Lightoller off the shelf the other day and remarked, "Hey, I can read this now. I spent $90 on it [on eBay] almost 10 years ago!" My elder daughter was shocked that I'd spent that much on a book, but that's probably half what she's blown on One Direction merchandise the past couple of years.
Besides, it's a BOOK, and I can rationalize pretty much any book purchase.
