Stone the Crows
« on: July 06, 2007, 01:27:54 AM »

anybody heard of them? I know that their lead singer Maggie Bell was considered Scotland's answer to Janis Joplin and Jimmy McCulloch was their lead guitarist from late 1972-1973 after their original guitarist Leslie Harvey tragically died from electrocuting himself on stage.

I've heard a few songs, though I've never been mad on Maggie Bells' voice. The bass player - James Dewar went on to play and sing with Robin Trower, who I did see at Reading Festival in, er...1975 I think.
