I've always loved this pic of Syd. He looks so innocent. Although I think the drugs had already started to take their toll.

It's such a shame he went the way he did as i suppose he was very attractive & good looking,
certainly to woman or somehing like that. to me, he was such a cool looking dude!

^^^^^^Yes, Syd was "charismatic" and loved by everyone. Dave Gilmour did a great interview on a Syd Barrett DVD that I have. And all he had to say was "beautiful" things about Syd. And I love that picture also, Sandra.

I "somewhat" studied about Syd. And in my opinion, I don't think his melt-down was all drug related. I do believe Syd had some mental problems in his life and the drugs only added "fuel to the fire" as to say.
