Songs About Places.
« on: December 06, 2008, 03:09:22 AM »

So, I'm in the mood to listen to songs about places. I have a few songs, but I want more.
So far, I have the songs:
American Pie- Don McLean
Born in the USA- Bruce Springsteen
Give Ireland Back to the Irish- Paul McCartney
Liverpool 8- Ringo Starr
Back in the USSR- The Beatles

Any other songs?

^  For the Beach Boys, Joost, it looks like we both forgot...

The Little Old Lady From Pasadena!

And it's funny, too, because I've been on the Colorado Boulevard that is mentioned in the song...but I've never seen any old ladies driving around crazily there. ;D

maybe its because jan and dean made it a hit.

theres zillions of songs about places me thinks. woodstock. chicago. hollywood. from new york to la. if youre going to san francisco. where were you when the lights went out in new york city.

although i must admit i dont know any song about minneapolis. probably not worth it.
