But dude, don't you think he's probably heard most of the songs from AHDN and Rubber Soul? Those are the songs they ALWAYS play on the radio. With the exeptions of Think For Yourself, It's Only Love and Wait.
I live in the Los Angeles area. Burbank. And they play the Beatles a lot. We've got a few classic rock stations and this new one called Jack that plays old and new music and they play the Beatles too. Then a couple of stations including one that's usually a talk station during the week have Breakfast With the Beatles type shows on the weekend. Beatles A-Z and so on. So if you listen, you'll hear a lot of Beatles. And it's usually earlyish Beatles. With of course the same five or six late Beatles songs like Let It Be, Hey Jude or Come Together. Now when I go to Phoenix to visit my family(why they moved there is beyond me), they NEVER play the Beatles. For some reason the DO play a lot of Elton John though. Weird how each city differs.

I just listened to all of A Hard Days Night for the first time in a while and every song on it is great. Definatly get this soon too. You need to get them all!
I've been meaning to get that one, too!All I've heard from BFS is Babys In Black an I'm A Loser, which I loved.
Not Eight Days A Week? I just recently got Beatles For Sale, the first time I listened to it to be honest I was a little disapointed but by my 3rd or 4th listen I was enjoying every song on the album. It's definatly a good album to get
i'd suggest stepping back at this point and experience some of the early stuff- to see how the beatles were just blasting everyone out of the water- "please please me", "meet the beatles", "hard day's night", and YES, "beatles for sale".
Couldn't agree more: I do that every week!!!
it's an interesting experience, is it not?
ok, maybe not a year
