Hey everyone, a newbie here!

Born in '85 and I became a fan probably around '95 or '96, when I was in 5th grade. We were doing a unit on the '60s in school and my group got assigned to make a presentation about music, so I learned a little about the Beatles then. Coincidentally, some movie channel like AMC or TCM showed A Hard Day's Night and Help! around the same time as the assignment, and watching the films really got me into the Beatles. Over the years I've gotten most of the albums, and now I'm starting to get into post-Beatle solo stuff.

Born in '88. My earliest Beatle memory was from '95 when I saw the FAAB video, I must have had some experience of their music before though because I thought it wasn't as good as their other stuff (An opinion that has changed).

I can remember waking up around '98-'99 time to the red album my Brother played. And suppose that was where it really began. George's death bought me closer to the group and I found MMT in my parents cd collection.

I suppose I like them so much because it's good music. And when I say that I mean it's about love and happiness and hope for the future. Something I think is lacking a little in todays music.

born in 1986...and until i was in 7th grade, my mother would not let me listen to ANY 'rock' music except my 2 beatles tapes...revolver and rubber soul...she said 'all the other bands are bad...they do/did drugs...the beatles didnt (ha)...so i spent a good 14 years listening to my 2 tapes...thinking the beatles were the only clean cut musicians in the world...

Yes, and? This thread was almost three years dead before you dug it up. If you're going to look for everything that's posted double on this board, I bet you'll be busy for the next couple of months.

Well, I was born in 1990, so I'll be 17 this May 25th. I hadn't gotten into the Beatles until just this past year. I've never really been that into todays music all that much, but I've always been in love with classic rock. One day I thought I'd check out some music from old bands that were really popular. I came upon the song 'Getting Better All the Time' and loved it, so I kept looking for more music by the Beatles and eventually fell in love <3

It feels so weird chatting among much older fans  ;)

Even though mentally, Wayne probably wasn't much older than 11 or 12.
