I can't remember who it was, but someone had posted that a remastered catalogue would only appeal to audiophiles and die-hards, which is just short-sighted bullcrap. The numbers speak for themselves. As long as there is product, in whatever form, the Beatles will always sell in incredible numbers. I can't believe the Bean Counters haven't realized that something like a remastered DVD set of live performances would be the Cash Cow from Hell, or 'Let It Be', meanwhile the bootleggers on Ebay are doing just fine selling average product.
