I didn't exactly roar but I was laughing when I watched that part. I was the only one...lucky there weren't many people.  ;D

In my school my teacher asked which famous persons are 'immortal'. Well here's a list:
J.F.K.
Hitler
The Beatles
John Lennon
Elvis Presley
...
well that's about it.

I wish I could remember who said the quote (and the exact quote for that matter), but it was something close to this - 'When many years pass and the radio has been forgotten,,,,the Beatles will still be remembered".

,,,,something on those lines. Hey it was college and I was living it through a haze.

I get called a hippie all the time. I don't mind it, although I don't see what's so hippie-ish about me. My hair and clothes, music tastes, and political views, maybe, but that's it.

I am considered a hippy and a mod. I am a hippy. My hair is wavy, sometimes I skip 1 shower, I am a peace nik, I am a Vegetarian, I am a Beatles fan, and I admit to... um.... doing some drugs. There.

My mod side, I wear mini skirts (white cute mod designs), knee high socks, high heal shoes, my hair straight, my make up, and my hair styles.

Other times, like today, I look like a bum. LOL!!

**I wear a Beatles shirt everyday, or I have to wear my Beatle buttons!!**

thats Awesome! My school never gets beatle references...My 50 year old world history teacher never even heard of Rubber Soul!

Some Punker also said I dont know music, all because I dont listen to watever the hell he listens to, I laughed, stupid theory

Though, I did chat with a substitue teacher who liked the the beatles alot before

I was in my classroom waiting for the bell to ring, and I was standing by the door, listening to a Beatles CD. Some kid come up to me and he said, "Hey, what're you listening to?" I said, "nobody you've never heard of." He said, "try me." After I told him I was listening to the Beatles, he said, "Yeah I know the Beatles! Everybody knows the Beatles. They were big in the sixties, weren't they?"
So he knew who the Beatles were.

cool mairi!

the english teacher who does the school announcements in the morning is a big beatles fan, and he does a thing called "quote of the day" where he says little wrds of wisdom.  Often theyre Beatles or other 60's rock groups.  he reads about one line of lyrics.  If i see him later i always telll him what song it was from.  its a little game. But very cool that hes spreading beatles lyrics to the whole school.  even if he rarely says "By the Beatles"
