No, it is one of my favorite Simpson lines (out of about 500 million of them).

I doubt they ones they show in your market are the same ones they show here.  All local syndication and such.

I live in West Palm, and a huge hurricane has, once again, dodged us.  We're not even forcasted to have tropical storm force conditions  :)

Dudess...yeah, I am in California.  Are you in the SF Bay Area?  If so then we share the same local TV.  Of course I get LA's as well since I have satelitte.  So I guess, if YOU are in Calif then *I* am in Calif.  :)

I LOVE Burbank!

I spent a few weeks down there on business (radio).

Practically lived on Hollywood Way (the hotel across from the airport).  Nice short drive over the hill to Hollywood.  Yeah, great town Burbank, no matter WHAT Rowan and Martin said!

Anyway, you and I watch the same Simpsons channel (the one with that morning news show...the guy...Steve something...then the more or less normal woman and that ditzy blond chick?  Yeah.  Good old FOX.  )

Ha! I take Hollywood Way on my way to work!  I'm right around the Disney building.  Burbanks okay, not QUITE the valley thank god. I love the Bay Area. I've got friends that live in the Oakland hills and it's GORGEOUS!!  Except they live right on the edge of a hill! Brave or stupid? I don't know.

Yeah, that's the Fox channel! Good Day LA is that insane morning show. Jillian Barberie drives me crazy. She's the ditzy girl.

KROQ!! I love that staition! Jed the Fish. Very cool. Except they don't play Beatles. I used to live in Glendale. Very suburban. Very Armenian. But nice enough for a suburb. Preferable over the valley anyday. Are you a native Californian? There's not too many of them down here. I'm not even one myself!

No no, Illinois born and bred.  Til I was 17.  Been here in the Bay Area since 1969.

Funny....the radio stations that are huge and famous like KROQ you would think have these huge expansive studios....not even!  They shared a high rise with tons of Warners departments, and it was a cramped, tiny little maze of hallways and dirty dingy offices.  Yet some small station out in Podunk Iowa has beautiful, expensive furnishings.  I found this to be true no matter where I went, big cities and small towns alike.  Funny, really.

What kind of music did KROQ play when you were there? Didn't they used to be an oldies station? Were you close to Chicago? I've never been there but it looks really cool. Not as cool as NY though.
