According to Wikipedia, "The film was initially set to be released on 13 September 2019 but was changed to 28 June that year. It will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on 4 May 2019."

I believe I'll venture out to the theater for this one.

The guy in the film is fortunate. Imagine if he woke up and the world had only forgotten Yoko existed. Not sure how far he would have got with Don’t Worry Kyoko or We’re All Water.

The movie is getting quite a bit of promotion here. I think I’ll have to turn off news shows while it’s happening. Too many “they were good for their time but their songs wouldn’t be successful now” takes.

Same here in the Northeast United States, Moog, on the TV, radio and internet. I'm sure it will get good reviews on Friday when it opens tomorrow.

read a review of it last night, oddly considering the hype over the director chosen, it was a negative review that "even the Beatles could not save this film".

Anyway, I am a little over 7 hours away from sitting down with a big popcorn and coke.

I'd turn off those shows, too.

The movie's playing here, too, but has not been promoted at all, which isn't surprising for this state. I've read a handful of reviews, mostly negative, but I believe I'll wait to see what the folks here think of it.

Wow. Thoroughly enjoyed it. At times predictable, how could it not be? Fun movie. Many funny moments. Good music. Left with a big smile.

I was listening to the radio this morning and heard an interview with someone who saw the movie in preview a couple of months ago. He put it very simply: "If you're a Beatles fan, you will like this movie." The director and production staff asked him to promise that he not reveal the ending. He kept his promise.
