If John were alive today, I believe he would have been retired, permanently from the music business, for at least 16 years now. He would still be making music, but playing it in the Dakota, for only family & friends. Lennon probably would have done one major tour around late 81/early 82, after the next album following Double Fantasy, which would have been a huge success. He would have been proud of his sons Julian & Sean, getting into the music business & probably would have made special appearances at their concerts. Knowing how opinionated & sarcastic he was during interviews about everything it seems, John would have made some comments about Paul, the Stones & the Who touring.

I think he would have finally came out of the closet, divorced Yoko, and then marry Elton John. They would have toured and sang ballads to each other all night.

I don't think he would have retired from the music industry. After all it's his hobby. They could even get back together but thats just wishful (unattainable) thinking

It's kind of funny how they did this great concert together in NY!

Why is there not 1 frame of footage from it--& if so where?

The record exist as well as photos!
I beleave it was befor the Ny concert that was released by John but after the Lennon & Frank Zappa concert I have!
I think it came after the 10 for two concert!
