George's Harrison's Best Song is:

Topic.

I like Taxman.  It's a very rocking piece that's very funny and very catchy.  A masterpiece in every respect, with some awesome drumming and great guitar playing :)

Here comes the sun.  Listen to it on a cold grey morning in March and you will realize that life is still pretty good.  Beautiful song, simple but perfect.

Why dint you include that up there?  Its one of his best known!

simple for a while.  I've yet to see anyone reproduce a passable rendition of the B part.  "sun sun sun, here it comes"

it changes structure radically at  that point.

if I'm not mistaken it becomes a 9/8 feel for that passage.

no wonder everyone hates me on beatle forums. I know too much. people perceive me a threat.

I do not mean to be threatening or hostile. But I know a zillion times more about the Beatles than anyone else.

most people find that unsettling. I should leave this forum asap.

I'd have to say While my guitar gently weeps - even though Clapton's solo is fantastic, any of the acustic recordings George did of it are amazing, wonderfully heart-rendering.

I chose While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I've always loved the guitar in this song.

It's got to be "Taxman" because it shows us very early in the "Beatles" career that George was just as talented as John and Paul! The lead in riff and blending of harmony is stunning!

I think Old Brown Shoe is his best song.  It's so awsome and catchy.  I think it's very underrated.  It's almost like no one knows about that song. .

Strictly Beatle career, I'd have to go with my favorite Beatle song Within You Or Without You.
