OK, so I actually have been thinking about creating a topic for this, and then I saw the new "You Know You're A John Fan When.." thread and decided to finally make it! There are a lot of times I wanted to post something, but they wouldn't really fit in the "You Know You're A Beatles Fan When..." thread, so I figured Paul needed his own!

And thus, I will repost this:

When in another book you read (literally just read this part haha) there is a character named Paul, and you already picture him like Paul McCartney. but then you read this:

"Apparently, his mother had meant to name him after a heroic uncle, a spy supposedly, who died in World War II, but his father, Robbie, meant to name him after Paul McCartney".

This, of course, leads you certainly picture the character like Paul, and be really happy.

First--what book? Second, you want to know how bad I was? When I was a kid in Sunday School, whenever I'd hear about the Apostle Paul? You got it, I'd always picture Paul McCartney(first had a crush on him starting at age 9:)

And haha before I even knew ANY Beatles/solo Paul songs, "Wonderful Christmastime" was ALWAYS my favorite Christmas song since I was a baby

I love Paul because he made me pay attention to basslines in songs, and now they are often my favorite parts in songs (particularly in Beatles and Wings songs

OK, this is really, really specific.

The "Woah-oh" at 3:04 into the song is enough to make me love him. Easily.

You know you're a Paul fan when whenever you hear someone say "Too many" you automatically start singing "Too Many People" in your head. I do that rather frequently, it's probably not a good thing

Animals have a way of bringing out unseen tenderness in some people. But yeah, Paul and doggies and kitties and whatnot......sigh.

It's probably a bad thing, but I tend to listen MORE for Paul's harmonies in songs where John/George/Ringo are singing lead...

I was just listening to "And I Love Her" in its remastered stereo version, and oh gods, was that man blessed with a beautiful, beautiful voice!
