35 Rhums (35 shots). A little French arthouse movie, one of those about nothing but about everything. Really enjoyed it - a nice change from Hollywood.
But damn the French can make a cigarette and coffee look like the most fun in the world.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince :)  Amazing!!  I won't give too much away for those you haven't seen it yet that want to see it.  But there were changes from the book, not too significant, as far as I can see...  The movie was beautifully done though, very nice angles and everything.

I just watched "Schlindler's List" yesterday. Amazing...gives me goosebumps to think it actually happened.

HP and the 0.5BP! I really liked it! My manager complained that they didnt do some of the stuff in the book... but I liked it. Better than the previous one, I'd say. And to think that Daniel Radcliffe turns 20!!!!

I agree, it was really lovely! :) Loved the film.
I thought the actors did a very good job - I really liked Slughorn and Snape (but then, he's always good 8) ).
And I'm glad they didn't completely cut out my favourite character :)

^ Was it just me or did Bella seem more evil in it?  I just love the way that Helena Bonham Carter plays her!  Ohhh and LAVENDER'S SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK!!!!  Gahhh that just annoyed me a little lol.

Which ones have you seen? They are very good! Very psychological. I have recently watched again The Swimming Pool (La Piscine) with Alain Delon, Romy Schnaider and Jane Birkin. Love it! French comedies are fantastic, the best ones I must say!

Kiki's Delivery Service. It's cute and it has the Studio Ghibli charm, but in my opinion, it doesn't quite live up to Spirited Away or My Neighbor Totoro.

... really?? :o Uh-oh, I never knew that :-[ I should re-read the books! Hmm, wonder why they changed her...

I was really waiting for a certain scene involving my favourite character (Lupin) that happened towards the end of the book *...trying not to spoil...* but they didn't put it in the movie. But I know they have limited time and all :)

A propos French comedies (excuse the pun ;) ), I really like those Louis de Funes comedies from back in the 60s... like the "Le Gendarme" series, Fantomas, and La Grande Vadrouille. Actually, to be honest, I've only ever seen them dubbed in Russian... but I really love 'em :) Even though I watched them so many times, they still make me laugh. :D Mum used to watch these films when she was little, and now we watch them together from time to time :)

I just saw Public Enemies...  Johnny Depp = <3 all I have to say (plus I love movies that show Chicago in the 1930s!)

Quarantine
'[REC]' is a Spanish horror movie about a tv crew that's trapped an appartment building that gets sealed off, because a deathly virus has broken out inside - imagine The Blair Witch Project with canibalistic zombies in an appartement building and you'll pretty much get the picture. Or not. 'Quarentine' is the US remake of that movie and since I loved the original I was curious to see what kind of twist they'd given to the remake. The answer: no twist whatsoever. It's an exact copy, only translated to English. They could just as well have overdubbed the original. So if you haven't seen [REC] yet and your English is better than your Spanish, you'd probably want to watch this one instead. The female lead in the Spanish version was a lot cuter though. ;)

The Wicker Man (remake)
I've heard and read a lot of negative things about this movie, so I was kind of hoping it would be so bad that it would be amusing. Well, it's not. It's bad, but not disasterously bad, it's just boring and doesn't make a whole lot of sense. And was Nicholas Cage always this bad an actor? He's terrible. The set looks cool, though.

I have seen 4 films running on TV. Don`t know why I did it. Maybe just felt lazy to get up from the sofa. Maybe just wanted to relax and not do anything else. These are the films: Teleport - so-so, only to see once; Spy Children 2 - funny, nice, to be seen once; Black Hawk Down - great film, I am shocked, poor soldiers, want to see it again, but one needs a special mood; Robbery In Baker Street - good, great actors, maybe I will see it again.
One needs to see Black Hawk Down by all means!

Actually it was much better than I thoght before. I really thought it won't be good 'cause I didn't liked the 5th part. But I was mistaken. It was really awsome, much better than the previous one! :)

Today I`ve seen Johnny D., though in English it may have a different name. Certainly Johnny Depp is starring. I can`t say I liked the film. Something is lacking.
