He was Apple Electronics - he impressed The Beatles (mainly John!) with his little electronic gadgets and promised he would build them a fantastic studio at Apple, which would surpass anything EMI could offer. He failed, and they had to rip out everything and import a portable studio from EMI to finish off the Let It Be sessions.
