That's one of my favorite topics! Have you read Iceblink? It's fascinating. There are several excellent books on this topic. I read all about it before the ships were found, and now some of the hard-to-find books are being re-released and becoming easier to find.

I, personally, would never set foot on a ship called the Terrorha2ha

No, Ive only read whats online Kathy.
I got interested in the subject through the song, which I first heard in the early 70's when I saw Pentangle live. They were an excellent sort of folky band.
I will seek out Iceblink though. :)

My favourite song of the sea, all about the never found Lord Franklin who set sail to find a route through the North West Passage

I meant to say I'm going to look this up, Kevin. Even though I have Malwarebytes installed on my PC (thanks, Barry!), I'm still reluctant to click on any links on this site. But I will Google it.

Sad song, matey.  Be joyful on your voyage and don't forget to greet the captain with a "Sir, good morning!"

Awwww, I can't believe they're skipping NYC. (Lots of other great cities on the itinerary, though.)

Maybe they figured everyone would get lost.  ;)

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

I just realized you'll get to see the Titanic cemetery (if you choose to visit). Lucky! Plus I've heard Nova Scotia and PEI are really beautiful.

I hope you and Gwyneth have a wonderful time. Just grit your teeth at the Rod Stewart concert and tell yourself that he’s still not as big as the Rutles.  ;D
