John Lennon TV clip 1965 'Not Only But Also' show

came across this clip on youtube- I'd never seen it before and it's pretty funny!

''On January 9, 1965, John Lennon appeared with Dudley Moore and fellow-Liverpudlian Norman Rossington (in the cap; he had just played Beatles manager Norm in "A Hard Day's Night") on the first edition of "Not Only But Also", a BBC-show hosted and performed by Moore and Peter Cook. Lennon appeared in a prefilmed sequence (shot on November 20, 1964 on Wimbledon Common, London) based on his poem "Deaf Ted, Danoota and Me", recited, I reckon, by Moore in a funny voice. It was from Lennon's poetry book "In His Own Write". ''

Is it rare or something? Because I hadn't seen it until I found it on youtube accidentally and I reckon it's genius! Very python-esque

Tangerine, I love you forever. That was HILARIOUS! I love how the wackiness just builds. The dive into the grass is my favorite. Thanks for posting this excellent find. Cheers!

thanks!  ;D I couldn't believe it when I found it- it seems theres always amazing undiscovered beatles footage and photos which just add to their legend! Personally I love the end- ''sometimes we bring our friend malcolm'' aaahahahahahahaha ha haaa
