It's cute, Kathy. They sing it in a multiple round too. Well, as best as kids that age can manage which makes it even cuter.

My kids grew up singing that at school here in Oz Kathy, I didnt know it was known elsewhere

I think that Waltzing Matilda is worthy of being your national anthem.

I remember our music teacher telling us what swagman, billabong, jumbuck, tucker bag, etc. meant.

When I was in college the Australian exchange students in our program had to sing that for us and explain what it meant. They didn't look all that excited to do it, either.
