You can call me Lysari or Lys. Xe/Xem. 30-something.
I'm...well, I'm not new to the Beatles but I'm not an older fan either. Basically, I was into them for awhile back in 2013 and had to stop listening for a long time for personal reasons - but now I'm able to listen again without any bad memories. My favorite members are George and Ringo (but mostly George). Couldn't tell you why; just that there's something about him that my heart really likes.
Things I like in general include Drew Carey, classic rock in general, Tom Petty, reading, writing, drawing, gaming, and musicals.
By the way, I'm unable to edit my profile. I can't click the modify profile thing.

I just realized Bonnie Tyler sounds a lot like Rod Stewart too...
I'd like to see and hear a Rod Stewart, Kim Carnes and Bonnie Tyler Trio. |

Moog, Kim Carnes sounds a lot like Rod Stewart. Here's cool mash-up of the two of them...
And here's both of them singing a duet of Tonight's The Night... |

A favourite deep cut is when Rod was just hanging around the studio in England and so did the vocals for this Aussie bands song. You certainly can't miss that voice! Thanks for that, Moog. |

They do sound pretty similar. Both good songs though from my favourite Stewart era. Don't they now, Moog! Look how seamlessly Rod Stewart and The Faces move from You Wear It Well to Maggie May... |

It was good fun. I liked the approach to presenting the early Beatles music, not trying to imitate but give the feel for how their sound might have impacte on audience by making it sound more punkish. . Although the “John” vocalist was a little too far away from his sound. And Paul barely got a look in.

In the early 70s I had trouble telling these two songs apart...
I think Rod Stewart needed that crib sheet so he wouldn't start singing Maggie May. |
