They were at their peak then.

It was a strange combination of muggy and cool here for most of the week then it did warm up quite a bit yesterday. But today felt like fall and the humidity was low, just the way I love it. My son is having his annual (except in 2021) classic car/ no car no problem show tomorrow out back at his camp. It’s going to be a beautiful day and a fun time with friends and family.

My poor son is in Columbia, MO, starting his senior year of college. It's 100 degrees (~38C), with a dew point of 76 (~24C, which is disgustingly high and means it's terribly humid), with a heat index of 114 (~46C). He's in an apartment. I sure as heck hope he has air conditioning. I suffered through a summer without air conditioning once in Columbia, and it was hell.
