It was a nice Mother’s Day weekend, Barry. Both kids were home and of course, the granddog was here too. She and I even managed to sneak in a nap together.

I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to watch any of that marathon. Shirley Jones was a good mother both on TV and in real life.

Mine ended on a rather funny note: The kids' toilet malfunctioned (the tank mechanism was broken), so I tried to fix it and got sprayed (soaked) with toilet tank water. Ugh! Fortunately, it's fixed now.

LOL. My girls are actually doing OK, but my son could use a scary lecture of that type. I just don't "get" teenage boys. He just seems so self-absorbed sometimes.
