Which of the above had you the least wanting to kill yourself? Troppo had some pretty good tunes amongst the rubbish, so that's where my vote is headed.

McCartney II is easily his worst release......yet it seems to be liked more than Gone Troppo......

I've always wondered about the title of McCartney II , I mean it had been like ten years since McCartney I and he had had like 6 albums done.

I think it was to show that he had broken up Wings and was now going off on his own all over again....
EDIT: And on a side note, I believe that he played all of the instruments on both of those releases as well, but I could be wrong.

By the way, I think Gone Troppo is the best album on this list. It has some very good moments.

Cripes! I thought this was a 'worst' poll and voted for McCartney 2! I need to start paying attention.
None of these records are any good, but 'Gone Troppo' may be the better of these three evils.

McCartney II-Paul knew what most of the decade of the 80's was going to be about before it hardly began at the time since it's mostly synthesizer tracks.
