Pavoratti is dead at 71

mm, i heard last night before i went to bed that Pavoratti was having serious issues, i think with his kidneys. i woke up today and my buddy told me he had passed away

ROME (AP) - Luciano Pavarotti, whose vibrant high C's and ebullient showmanship made him one the most beloved tenors, has died, his manager told The Associated Press. He was 71.

Pavarotti had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and underwent further treatment in August 2007.

Soonest as I heard the news, I listened to Miss Sarajevo. It's one of my favourite songs ever.
We're gonna miss you, Luciano. You were one of the best. Rest in peace.
