No, it's because most people considered them to be the 2nd greatest band ever, while I don't even like any of their songs. Seriously, I don't like any of them. So from my point of view, they're extremely overrated.

Nirvanas the most overrated band, but of these, The Doors.  Theyre good, but Jim Morrison made them mor efamous than their music warrants.


I think the Stones are getting a bad name, kinda like the Who, cos theyve been going for so long.  In my opinion they are the greatest Rock and Roll Band and deserve that title.  They play some kickass music.

no of course not.  But sometimes i have a hard time classifying the Beatles as Rock.  They were better than the Stones though.  No one can touch them

Seriously.  I think the E Street Band is overrated.  They're sorta like the Band lite.  And they don't have a serious lead guitarist.  There's just not that much memorable about them.  They got no Garth, no Levon, no Danko--and no Bob Dylan writing lyrics.  

For a guy who's never held a job in his life, Bruce's "working man" schtick wears a little thin on me.  At least Bono's out there working for debt relief, etc.  Bruce was cool in the early to mid 70s, then he muscled up and tried to look like some 50s greaser on steroids.  

And he gets away with more  cliches than anybody this side of John Cougar Mellanhead.  "Two Hearts Better than One"  "You can look but you better not touch" ?  Uggh!

Aerosmith is overrated......thier only good song that I can think of by them is Dream On (and that one song they did with Run DMC,, wlak this way)

^lol! The one they did with Run DMC! That's cute. I used to be SO into Aerosmith, but now I can't stand them. Their 70's music was cool, but that 80 and 90's crap! Ugh. I still think they have a few great songs though.

And they did a really cool version of Get Back. And I HATE covers, but this one was cool. Loved them in that crappy Sgt. Pepper movie.
