MTV has no credentials for me anymore since they stopped being "all music videos". They suck!!! I have to go to youtube for my daily "fix" of music videos...........

When I first saw MTV back in the mid eighties, I couldn't decide which sucked more: the videos or the whole MTV non-style. It could have just been the constant rotation of "Thriller," too, I suppose. (barf4)

I thought VH1 was OK when it started. A genuine alternative to MTV for the slightly maturing type. Then MTV took it over, and that was the end.

Shows you how out of the loop I am with these things, I wasn't aware that MTV took over VH1. No wonder it went down the pooper.

Remember the show pop-up video? I used to like that show!

^^^^^I agree........10 years ago VH1 was the "king" compared to MTV.....now they both "suck"..............

mtv had a few bright spot...like martha quinn,head bangers ball,beavis and butthead,liquid tv i believe came from there,as well as south park and ren and stimpy too but the sh*t don't out weigh the shine....so it sucks.....seach for a movie called heavy metal....watch that instead of m t v 2nite...and get a bucket of chicken to go with it....
