If I am not mistaken, Paul played DC and Maryland last year as well as multiple dates in NY. He loves playing in NY so it's not inconceivable that he'd play there again someday.
^Could it be a really, really early birthday present maybe?
Oomu, good luck convincing your mom. My own 'rents are not concertgoers themselves so I could see them calling this a waste of money too. However, I believe the tix for AZ start at $45 (not including fees/taxes), so while it's not "cheap", it's not an impossible price to pay. I hope she says yes; Paul is a force of nature when he performs live.
If it's the same basic setlist he's been doing since the 80's, I'll pass!
Woooh! Isle of Wight festivl...bang on where I live! Sooooo happy!
^^No Paul! Come to more places in America
Heres the artwork for the tour which will probably be on tour merchandise
I hope he does...I find it hard to believe that Paul would stop playing in the US after only three locations (CA, AZ, FL). I feel like there are more to come, IMO.
^^Not to upset you, but Paul DID write When I'm 64 for his dad didn't he? For his dad's 64th birthday when Paul was only a teenager?
Although the song was written with his father in mind, it was coincidental that he was 64 when it was eventually released. "My dad was probably only 56 when I wrote it," Paul said. "Retirement age in Britain is 65, so maybe I thought 64 was a good prelude. But probably 64 just worked well as a number."
