More Than Junk ?
« on: February 26, 2009, 12:22:43 PM »

Most of these Anthology 3 songs proved to be more than junk .
Should The Beatles have worked harder on these songs and brought them up to scratch and released them as Beatles songs ?
And which ones could have made The Beatles grade with a little more work ?
You get a multiple choice on this poll (thumbsup)(thumbsdown)

Junk would have been great on the White Album, and also the little snippet "can you take me back" would have been great if it had been finished kinda beckish feel to it.

I love Junk and Not Guilty.  I'm not sure how good of a fit they'd be on the White album but they're good, stand up songs where as something like Step Inside Love I think would have just cluttered it up (along with Wild Honey Pie IMO)

^ Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad song I just think that it's good that they didn't put it on the album because, in my opinion, I think it wouldn't sound right on the white album.  Then again, my opinion about the White album's weird...

Junk is one of the few times they let a great melody slip through the net .
It would have fitted lovely inbetween I Will and Julia ?

They're all good songs, in my opinion.  I like Come And Get It best, just as it is.

Junk is an absolute favourite of mine, and one of his best tunes. shame that didn't end up on the white album
instead of something like Wild Honey Pie. but at least it did see the light of day on the McCartney album.

I go with Junk and George's Not Guilty. he played a mean guitar on that!! :)
