Does Paul whistle in any songs?
« on: July 27, 2021, 08:21:12 PM »

I know that John did.  At the moment, I can't think of an example.

Did Paul ever whistle in a song?

Thanks, Hello.  Paul's quite a good whistler IMO.  Is there anything he can't do?

Like maybe yodel?

I know for a fact that there's one thing he can't do: He can't win my heart. Not that he wants it. But still. A hard-and-cold fact of something even Paul can't do.  ;D

Paul was once asked if he could yodel.  He replied:  "I studied in Switzerland!"

Paul comes close here...

Paul was doing a bit of Slim Whitman there.  He'll need more yodel study in Switzerland.   ;D

Thanks again, Hello.  Paul certainly sounds as though he could proficiently yodel if he wanted to.  I like the song selections you provided.  "Let's dance tonight" is a nice pleasant little tune.  "I saw her standing there" is still very infectious and powerful.   Paul's quite good with his "oooooo" notes.  Yes, his French Horn is quite passable.  It makes me think that maybe Paul really did hear all those instruments in his head while he was composed his songs.  I know John used to tell George Martin what kind of sounds he wanted.  It must have been challenging with a song like "I am the Walrus."

Oh, yes.  It sounds like Paul was indeed the Walrus even though John claimed the former appellation in the God song.

I think Paul should aspire to become a magician.  There's no telling what amazing tricks he may be able to create.  He's an all-around wizard, for sure.

Normandie:  Your statement re: Paul of "He can't win my heart" strikes me as rather poignant.  I don't know why.

I know this much:  True Love is a unique treasure.  I think it may be rare - but how would I know?

Well, here's another clue for you all, Loco...
