I just had a thought, kind of like a fantasy. Here's the basis for it: I remember reading that John liked Paul's song, Coming Up. It is said that he had spoken with Yoko at that time about what it would be like to work with Paul again.
One thing that stood out for me in Paul's video was that he was dressed up as an Early Beatle in parts of it.
So, here's my thought. What if John liked the idea and thought it would be fun for a new Beatles album cover to have them all dressed early-Beatles mop top style while attired in the corresponding Nehru jackets?
So, I venture to say that this was a fairly good possibility. Wow! That would have been so awesome!
