What Men Can Learn About Love From John Lennon - National Nonverbal Communication |
I recently saw a bumper sticker that read, "I still hate Yoko Ono." Yoko Ono has perhaps been the most criticised public figure in the media, accused of breaking up the Beatles, deeply resented by the masses, publicly called, "ugly" and surviving having her music and voice the butt of every Beatle joke for all time. Yoko Ono, the target of hate and jealousy which she and John have openly said they found hurtful. While Yoko has never claimed to be a pop-music artist, sensational as she is, she has shown tremendous strength in marching forward artistically despite being the target of heavy spitting of emotional poison. After all, it was her unique style of artful expression that caught the attention of the most legendary man in rock music- John Lennon. One must suspect the truth behind all of this public hate was the utter disbelief that this small, unassuming yet formidable woman won John Lennon's heart and undying love.
