"In my life", takes?
« on: May 27, 2010, 10:18:34 PM »

A lot of different takes of The Beatles songs have surfaced through the years, but i've never heard an alternative take of "In my life". Anyone?

Sebastian, I have The Alternate Rubber Soul CD which includes two alternate takes or versions...

Track 11   In My Life   Alternate stereo mix - from "Love Songs", reversed channels   2:25

Track 22   In My Life   Take 3 with Hammond organ super-imposed (22/10/65)   1:02

I think i've heard those two!
But i'm sure i've never heard takes from an early phase. No studio talking inbetween, no "take 27-28" and such.

There's some different versions on the Purple Chick Deluxe series. All based on take 3 I think.
